 Lake Geneva Tournament

September found us fishing Lake Geneva for our last scheduled Tournament. The weather was really nice The lake had little traffic and the water was calm. The fish were not exactly jumping in the livewell but the day was almost perfect. We had a great turn out. Lucky Ron & Madman Mark took 1st, Minnkota Matt took 2nd with his fine catch fishing with Stickbait Nick and 3rd wasJig-n-Jeff fishing with Frenzy Frank, last but not least Tracker Jeff captured fourth fishing by himself.
Everyone was trying to qualify for the upcoming Classic at Lake St Clair. Some really quality fish were brought in. The morning bite was on surface plugs for some. In the afternoon the drop shots seemed to fair better. This Tournament had a couple of close
Angler of the Year races going on for our boaters. Our non-boaters were battling for their Top Gun. Today decided those battles. Check out who caught what.

WiniconneTournament

We held our Winiconnee Tournament on Saturday Augast 11. We had a nice but not full compliment attending. The fishing was off as bad weather passed through days before. Either that or quite a few of our members are just  lousy fishermen..???? On Saturday we had a fantastic steak dinner in Winniconies bet resturant. The trip was worth the meal Sunday we had a Buddy Tournament for those that stayed. Dogfish Dean won that one.& will collect the cash.                  Pictures  -  Results

Savanna Tournament

Well we finally had a real, real tough one on Ol Miss. The wind was high, the water was low, and we experianced a cold front. A bad day for many of our Club.It was Tracker Jeffs 1st win and he did it with the help of Madman Mark who is as hot as a pistol this year.  It did not take many fish to win this one.  But that's fishing.
Next time it will be better ...we hope. The Savanna

Lake Geneva Wisconsin: The weather was great. Not to hot and not to humid. Four teams participated. Flip-n-Randy and his grandson, Terminator Tim and his Father, Sluggo Steve and his partner PePE LePew, and last but not least Lucky Ron & Bomber Brad. The morning started at 6AM. The lake was beautiful and traffic was not that heavy (Believe it or not ). At the end of the day we weighd in on the lake in front of the Linn Pier launch. Terminator Tim had high hope's as his dad had landed a toad. They also had a respectable 14 pound 4 ounce five fish boat limit. Flip-n-Randy had two fish. Then Bomber Brad pulled out his two Toads and Lucky Ron added his three fish to make a boat limit of five fish. Their limit weighed 16 pounds 6 ounces. This beat out Terminators Tims limit of 14 pounds 4 ounces. Money was passed to the winning team of Lucky Ron & Bomber Brad. Then we went to Culver's for the traditional bull session lunch. Great Day ... good times.

 JUNE

 June 26 1st Annual Yute's vs Crusty's...Lake Geneva
Hook-m-Hank called a Buddy Tournament on Lake Geneva. The theme was for the top team combined scores to win the cash. However Hank being the preverted  sick individual he is called for a special theme  "Yute vs Crusty" .

It pitted the members under 40 agaist the guys over 40.  No imagine this. Your partner is a Yute and you're a Crusty. What do you do? To win the cash you have to combine your scores. But your partners score goes agaist your age grooups score...hum? Sick Hank...very Sick!
Anyway the day was beautiful however the fishing was slow. The lake had been sprayed to kill thee weeds. So this slowed the fishing like it always does.
Despite that fish were caught. Side bets were made and the day ended with some burgers and fries at Cluvers after wards.
